Orlando Country offers a very special setting for you to host your family and friends in remembrance of a loved one who has passed.
The Orlando Chapel and Lake House Pavilion come together to perfectly compliment your celebration of life in either a formal or informal way.

Please note the below information and pricing is based on a funeral service or reception Monday - Thursday, with approx 120 guests. Please enquire further for Friday - Sunday dates and greater number pricing.

Traditional, Modern or Informal Funeral Services

We appreciate that all families have varying values and beliefs and that when it comes time to say goodbye to someone close to you, a funeral service should reflect their life in the best possible light while respecting chosen wishes.

Our Orlando Chapel is a special building to celebrate the life of your loved one and can be viewed as a chapel,
non religious venue or just a spectacular venue to celebrate a loved one’s life.

Funeral Pricing

  • An Orlando Funeral Service & Reception

    $1500 - The Orlando Chapel Service and Lake House Pavilion Reception

    A 3 Hour Orlando Service and reception includes exclusive use of the Chapel and Lake House Pavilion room with menu and refreshments options at additional cost. This pricing also includes our projector and screen, microphone and sound system along with unlimited driving range balls for the duration of your reception.

  • An Orlando Funeral Afters/Reception

    $1000 - The Lake House Pavilion Room

    A 2 hour reception including exclusive use of the Lake House Pavilion room.
    Relax on the veranda with family and and enjoy a hit on the range with menu and refreshment options at additional cost. This pricing also includes unlimited driving range balls for the duration of your reception.

  • An Orlando Service Only Funeral

    $700 - The Orlando Chapel

    A 1.5 hour reception including exclusive use of the Orlando Chapel for your service. This pricing includes our projector and screen, microphone and sound system.

What is included in your funeral service & reception?

All Funerals include exclusive use of the “Orlando Chapel” for your service followed by a Lake House Pavilion reception to host friends and family for either morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea depending on your preferred timings.


Once we are able to establish a general overview of your requirement’s, we will then personally co-ordinate with both yourself and your chosen funeral director to ensure we are able to present a memorable occasion in keeping with your families wishes.

  • Our Chapel is pre-set with pews seating up to 120 guests and is centrally heated and air conditioned to ensure the comfort of all guests attending.

  • Our stated audio visual equipment can be hired and set-up for you as required, or your funeral director may do this for you as part of their standard service.

  • Although your funeral director usually co-ordinates the proceedings on the day, our staff will also be on hand to ensure the seamless transition from service to reception allowing you and your family the freedom to greet and host your guests as you would in your own home.

All of the information and pricing is based on a Monday - Thursday funeral service and reception. Please enquire further for Friday - Sunday dates.

Reception Menu & Refreshment Options

Food and refreshments are a lovely addition to any occasion so Orlando Country has put together a selection of reception platters designed as morning or afternoon tea. Our chefs will create tailored finger food platters ensuring a mixture of sweet and savoury with something for everyone.

Alcoholic refreshments may be tabbed on consumption, or a bar tab can be set up prior to.

A tea / filter coffee and juice station is available at an unlimited flat rate of $150.00 with additional bar tabs available depending on your requirements including beer / wine options.

Reception platter example:

  • Mini blueberry muffins served with fresh whipped cream

  • House made mini savoury mince pies and sausage rolls

  • Petite corn fritters topped with bacon and smashed avocado

  • Fried chicken sliders with brie cheese, lettuce and Orlando aioli

  • Classic Orlando scones served with fresh whipped cream and raspberry jam

If numbers change on the day and you wish to order more food, our regular platter menu will remain open.

Pricing example:

$15.00 per person = approx. 3 food items per person

$17.00 per person = approx. 4 food items per person

$20.00 per person = approx. 6 food items per person

We work alongside exceptional funeral directors, florists and celebrants to ensure that the funeral of your loved one runs smoothly and meets the requirements needed to create a beautiful day of remembrance.

Funeral Service and Reception at Orlando Country

9.45am - Set Up
This is your time (if required) to set the Chapel and pavilion room as you would like. Our staff will ensure everything is in perfect order if you would prefer to arrive with your guests.

10:15am - Guests arrive at the chapel
During this time, your guests will arrive and be shown by Orlando staff over the bridge down to the Orlando Chapel.

10:30 am - Funeral service begins in the Orlando Chapel
Your funeral service will be tailored to suit your needs. Your chosen funeral director will liaise with us and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Some AV equipment will be set up for you prior to the guests arrival, with a microphone, speaker, projector and screen available to use throughout the service..

11:30am - Reception begins in The Pavilion
The reception is a wonderful way for people to share their memories and talk about your loved one. Our personalised menu options allow everyone to relax and enjoy our welcoming space. We provide a private space equipped with a bar, comfortable sofa area, bathroom and driving range bay. Everything you need for the perfect goodbye.

1:30pm - Reception concludes
Our staff will check in with you and make sure that your time can be extended in The Pavilion if necessary.

Private Service elsewhere

1:00pm - Guests arrive and are shown to The Orlando Pavilion.
Refreshments will be available on arrival and platters will start to be passed as guests arrive.

Enjoy our private space to mingle with your loved ones and enjoy sharing memories. We will liaise and ensure everyone has enough food and keep the golf balls topped up so everyone can socialise under our veranda socially.

3.00pm - Reception concludes
Our staff will check in with you and make sure that your time can be extended in The Pavilion if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We agree and are happy to base your numbers on a best guess. We will keep an eye on guests and then liaise with yourself or a nominated person. We then have platters that can be added on the day to ensure everyone is catered to. Our pricng is based on 120 guests.

  • Please fill in our enquire form with what package and menu you are interested in along with a couple of date and time options and we will get back to you with availability. An idea of numbers is also a good idea to include. As an active Conference and Events centre some dates will already be fully booked, however we will endeavour to find a suitable option for you.

  • We understand that Funerals are only booked a couple of days in advance in comparison to other functions. We will reply to any enquiries as soon as possible and depending on availability, would be able to have the funeral within the week.

  • Usually Funerals are available Monday-Thursday at Orlando Country due to our weekend events already being booked. However, there is never any harm in asking and we will always try our hardest.
