Lake House Christmas Day Time Event 2023

$85.00 + gst per person 2024

  • A three course lunch menu, designed for Christmas, with a first course of breads passed to guests on the veranda during drinks and driving range.

  • Veranda access and your very own bay area for your business or group with set golf mat/s prior to lunch..

  • Unlimited driving range balls to hit from the range along with free golf club hire for the duration of your event. (excludes while you are seated for lunch).

  • Tea and filter coffee will be available and served after your main.


    Refreshments are     not included but can be tabbed on consumption, or cash bar available.

Loads of golf balls, ensuring everyone gives it a go and is part of the ‘Orlando
Go head to head with your colleagues or have a casual hit.

Unlimited golf balls, ensuring everyone gives it a go offering an activity while you socialise. This is something that everyone can have a go at and with unlimited balls for the hour prior to lunch its the perfect way to keep your guests/team entertained.

Lake House Christmas Lunch.

This Christmas banquet styled lunch menu is served to each table where guests can help themselves to the different options presented. A range of salads, meats, potatoes and a choice for desserts to follow and tea and coffee to finish.

How The Day Works.

11:30am arrival
Welcome to your Orlando Country Christmas Event! On arrival guests are welcome to order a drink from the bar then head out onto the veranda to mingle and hit some golf balls! You have unlimited golf balls to hit off prior to lunch- so your entire group can have a turn on the range. First course breads are passed to guests soon after arrival while socialising on the veranda.

12.45pm
All guests will be invited inside for the remaining two lunch courses themed with a hint of Christmas, beginning with main followed by dessert.

3.00pm conclusion
Your Christmas event comes to an end and all guests depart Orlando Country by 3.00pm. (please have transport arranged for your guests departure no later than 3.00pm).

Breads

(Our staff will serve a selection of breads to your guests during range and drinks on the veranda)
A selection of garlic and herb bread topped with parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella


Main 

(All of the following will be served to your tables banquet style, so no one needs to get up from their seats) 

Premium medium rare, beef ribeye with roasted garlic and mustard. Served with a rosemary jus GF DF

Mango chicken curry served with whole grain rice and topped with toasted coconut chips GF DF

Maple glazed Christmas ham, served with a cranberry and plum chutney GF DF

Gourmet potatoes in a chimichurri sauce GF DF V VG

Fresh salad greens topped with kumara crisps, served with a lemon vinaigrette DF VG

Pesto pasta salad with red onion, feta, seeds and sun-dried tomatoes VG​


Dessert

(guests can choose from the following on the day) 

Traditional Pavlova
served with whipped cream, kiwifruit, strawberries and a passionfruit lemon sauce GF

Rich chocolate torte
Whittakers  50% dark chocolate torte, served with a decadent chocolate sauce, chocolate soil, whipped cream & freeze dried raspberries GF

Dietary requirements: 
Banquet menus are not ideal for dietary requirements as separate plating would have to be ordered in advance at an additional charge.
Set menus are suitable with many dietary requirements as they are individually served.

Please Note.

Regarding dietary requirements:
Orlando Country are more than happy to accomodate any allergy and dietary requirements, 
please let us know what these are prior to your event to ensure our chefs are able to prepare and order produce.
There will be an additional charge for large alterations to menus as these are priced as a set menu,
any additional dietary requirement meals if available on the day will be charged for on the final invoice. Dietary meals that guests wish to alter from the standard menu on the night will also be charged at full price on the final invoice.

Produce price: 
Please note prices are subject to change without notice due to produce price increase and menus are subject to change w/ seasons & availability. However, we will do our best to avoid this by altering produce.

 Christmas Event Terms & FAQ’s

  • An invoice can be issued to existing clients of Orlando Country Club & new clients are more than welcome to contact us to set up an account you may pay by credit card (1.9% credit card fee).

  • Your guests are more than welcome to leave their cars on site overnight if they wish, although this is at their own risk, with gates opening at 9:30am.

  • Yes, most groups run bar tabs - please let us know in advance & we can set this up for you. Can we run a bar tab for our group?

  • Yes this is not a problem, we would love to host you and do our best to slot you in on a night that suits your small group.
